Packaging Design and Re-branding concept for Casa Larga
Branding concept creating a humanistic approach while paying respect to the architect that originated the vineyards.
This was a student project of mine after working for CLV for about a year. The winery was founded and built by Andrew Colaruotolo, an Italian architect. Casa Larga translates to “Large House” and you’ll notice that the building at the winery is a beautiful italian style with gothic arches all over. I carried those gothic arches all the way into the custom font that I designed for the logo.
Their moto is “Experience an Italian Way of Life”. This essentially means forget your worries and enjoy the moment. I took that spirit into the label as well from the descriptions on the back, to the sketch of the building, to the varietal name taped on because they were too busy enjoying the wine and forgot.
