From accessibility of the navigation to the atmosphere created by the white bleeding background and motion to feel like your actually flipping through his work. What a great way to display your work. This is a canon of what a design portfolio should perform like. Well done without feeling over-designed. However, I’m not sure how well it fits on a 1024×768 resolution screen.
The man who’s constantly referred to for his great stories that he tells or creates has passed. He pushed more than anyone else to generate new ideas and to think about the work you do and to “GO! Go out and do it!”. He taught us more than we know. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
Stephanie DeArmond creates delicious ceramic typography matching culturally-mainstream statements, seemed to be pulled from tabloids or MTV, and with kitschy imagery reminiscent of a time when these decors would cover country kitchens.
Experimental Jetset have made a great contribution to design. They make the importance on creatively addressing what you do with your typography over the importance of which typeface you choose.
