I saw this a while back, but I stumpled on it again. It’s a great way to examine type design and the variations in each cut and for each reason.
The man who’s constantly referred to for his great stories that he tells or creates has passed. He pushed more than anyone else to generate new ideas and to think about the work you do and to “GO! Go out and do it!”. He taught us more than we know. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
Stephanie DeArmond creates delicious ceramic typography matching culturally-mainstream statements, seemed to be pulled from tabloids or MTV, and with kitschy imagery reminiscent of a time when these decors would cover country kitchens.

“Anzianoâ„¢ SC (Fountain)Stefan Hattenbach’s Anzianoâ„¢ deserves a spot on the Best of ’07 list as one of the few new designs that hearkens back to classic book typography. Thanks to our friends at Fountain, you can try the Small Caps for free, and when you fall in love with the typeface, come back for the rest.” –Font Shop
Anzianoâ„¢ SC provides a great alternative to the infamous Trajan for a typeface has a roman feel to it. With its tuscan serifs and beautiful positive/negative space relationships, this typeface is a great addition to my library.
